A youthful Spanish squad has been chosen for September's Nations League matches with coach Luis Enrique calling up a number of La Liga starlets.
The most eye-catching name is that of Barcelona teenager Ansu Fati, the 17-year-old seen as one of the players who can lift spirits at the stricken Catalan giants and now poised to make a senior Spanish bow.
Website Football Espana reports on Enrique's decision to leave out a number of senior stars although the likes of David De Gea, Sergio Ramos and Sergio Busquets remain in the squad.
Spain will take on Germany and Ukraine in their two September fixtures.
