England returned to winning ways in Finland on Sunday, a 3-1 success going some way to make up for the home defeat against Greece three days previously.
Lee Carsley's side, set up in a more conventional system with the return of captain Harry Kane after injury, took the lead in the first-half thanks to a move of genuine quality, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Angel Gomes combining to play in Jack Grealish who finished smartly.
Finland enjoyed decent spells of pressure either side of the break and largely contained England as an attacking force until Alexander-Arnold's excellent free-kick made the three points safe.
With the England substitutes injecting some pace into the game, Declan Rice added a third but hopes of a clean sheet were ended by Walta's late goal for the hosts.
The Three Lions re-join Greece on nine points at the top of their Nations League group ahead of the Greeks taking on Republic of Ireland on Sunday evening.
