Fresh from an upbeat end to his time as interim senior manager, Lee Carsley will be back in charge of England U21s as they look to retain their European crown next summer.
A strong finish to their qualifying group saw England through to the 2025 tournament without the need for a play-off and they will now be one of the top seeds, alongside Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands, when the draw for the group stage of the finals is made on 3 December.
15 teams have qualified, joining hosts Slovakia in the tournament, which takes place between 11 and 28 June next year, the final being hosted at the National Stadium in Bratislava.
Seven of the players who started the Euros final in 2023 under Carsley also featured for him this autumn as he turned to a number of those he knew well from his successful first spell in charge.
