Having breezed through their World Cup qualification group so far, England Women end 2021 with two home matches next week.
Sunderland's Stadium of Light is the venue for the visit of Austria on Saturday 27th, kick-off 12.30pm before Latvia provide the opposition at the Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster, on Tuesday 30th at 7pm.
Having averaged eight goals per game in their four qualifiers so far, England head coach Sarina Wiegman may actually be hoping for a tougher test of her side against Euro 2022 finalists Austria before a return fixture with a Latvia side who conceded 10 to the Lionesses last month.
Wiegman will be without Leah Williamson for the games, the Arsenal defender suffering from a hamstring injury, and has admitted that many of her players may need a break of some sort amidst a punishing schedule at club and country level.
Jordan Nobbs is back in the squad while Ellen White is set to win her 100th cap if featuring in either game.
