Having only made his senior England debut towards the end of 2023, Cole Palmer's influential cameo appearances in the European Championships have seen him named as the senior men's player of the year for 2024.
England supporters voted the Chelsea man into first place ahead of Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka.
The accolade shows just how quickly Palmer has forced his way to the front of the crowd scene that is the battle to be England's main creative influence, given that an appearance against Greece on Thursday evening would still only be his 10th at senior level.
Curtis Jones and Tino Livramento, meanwhile, have been added to the England squad for the games against Greece and Finland, boosting numbers back to 24 after the withdrawals of Morgan Gibbs-White, Ezri Konza and Kobbie Mainoo.
