Micah Richards was quick to criticise England after Thursday's drab 1-1 draw with Denmark.
Despite going ahead with a Harry Kane goal on 18 minutes, England then went on the defensive, trying to hold out for the win but conceding an equaliser.
The draw does give England a strong chance of qualifying for the next round, but the performance was boring.
“I don't know if they are being told to play like this,” Richards said on BBC One. “They are lethargic - they need more energy and need to be more aggressive.
“We are constantly inviting pressure. We have a group of players who can keep the ball.”
